|81'||N. Cardozo has scored a goal for Monterrey! Assist by S. Pérez.|

|56'||Monterrey are hungry for more and at the current rate, Municipal look unable to do anything about their situation.|
|53'||P. Solorzano is unfortunate, scores an own goal!|
|Goal Monterrey. The Mexicans finally get their second goal thanks to a mistake by Penedo who misses a low cross into the box and sees it deflected into the goal by a rather innocent Solorzano.|

|31'||Finally a calmer phase for Municipal after surviving six major chances in six minutes.|
|28'||A bit of pressure from Municipal now but it doesn't seem to worry the home side.|
|26'||Yet another opportunity for the Mexicans to make it two. Ayoví strikes from far out but Penedo once again gets in the way.|
|25'||Five chances in five minutes for Monterrey. Ayoví gets the ball from Carreño but then finds Penedo in his way.|

|15'||Municipal will now need two goals to avoid being eliminated from the tournament.|
