90' +4		The referee blows the final whistle and RSL achieve a super draw in Mexico. 2-2 on the night and all to play for in the 2nd leg in a weeks time.
90' +3		Suazo again almost through but the RSL defense remains defiant and clears up field.
90' +2		Into additional time in this second half and what a result for RSL.

89'		Goal RSL. Morales collects the ball just outside the Monterrey area and he picks his spot to bring the scored level.
88'		Ayoví latches onto a through ball from Cardozo and his first time effort is into the side netting.
86'		Suazo is clean through and his chipped effort is just over an advancing Rimando's bar.
84'		Corner to Monterrey is sent in and the referee spots a hand ball and RSL can clear up field.

76'		At the other end RSL win a corner which is swung in and Russell gets a head to it and deflected out for a second corner. Williams with the short one this time and eventually a Beckerman cross is cleared.
75'		The free kick is struck with venom as Rimando punches clear, the follow up effort is high and RSL can take a breather.
74'		Williams in the book for a clumsy challenge on Osorio. RSL need to calm down a little as a 2-1 defeat would not be a bad result at this juncture.
72'		A. Saborío gets yellow.

		Corner to RSL as they look to relieve some pressure. RSL almost find room in the crowded Monterrey box but Orozco claims well. In the resulting melee Zavala and Saborío get a yellow for hand bags at six paces.

Monterrey started the brighter and opened the scoring but a surprising double substitution by the Mexicans had the rest of the team scratching their heads and soon RSL equalized. the 'away' goal could prove crucial in the 2nd leg as Monterrey will look to add more goals in the second half.

45'		Free kick to Monterrey about 35-yards out. Morales with a weak free kick which Monterrey clear with ease.
42'		RSL now pushing Monterrey further back into their own half as the first half comes to a close.
40'		Fair play to RSL. Monterrey were beginning to click and looked the more likely to score but RSL are right back in this game and have that all important 'away' goal. Super stuff from the Major League Soccer outfit.
38'		Monterrey win a free kick right on the edge of the RSL area. Suazo's effort is deflected out for a corner. The resulting corner is too long and is straight out for a goal kick.
35'		N. Borchers has scored a goal for Real Salt Lake!
35'		Goal RSL. Corner swung in to the near post and Orozco punches clear. Johnson picks the ball up and sends in a deep cross which Borchers heads home.
34'		Monterrey pressing forward in search of a second goal. RSL win a corner as another terrible back pass from Mier has Orozco scrambling to clear.
33'		Third corner of the night to Monterrey played short by Suazo and once again RSL deal with the danger.
