14'		Comunicaciones seem content early on to sit back and wait for a counterattack chance to present itself. Monterrey enjoying a monopoly of the possession in the early stages.

9'		First bit of ball posseession from Comunicaciones leads to a corner on the right side. The ball is served in nicely by Carlos Mejía, but the Monterrey defense is eventually able to scramble clear.

		Good evening to all and welcome to tonight's Group D encounter in the CONCACAF Champions League between cup holders Monterrey and Guatemalan upstarts Comunicaciones. This game is a rematch of last week's tie that saw Comunicaciones score a shock 2-0 win in Guatemala. Monterrey, winners of the competition last season, sit third on three points in the group halfway through this phase. Comunicaciones are second on six points staring at leaders Seattle Sounders on maximum points. Monterrey will have revenge on the brain this evening, so stay tuned for what should be a dandy matchup.
